Thanks Mrsmac, thats what I keep trying to tell myself They did check things out thoroughly (well I hope so! lol) as I was in there for quite a while waiting while they went over the results.
I just hate being so out of my depth and not knowing whats normal or not in pregnancy, lol. And I just realised my midwife clinic isn't open on Sundays so I have to wait until Monday. Bugger!
Since its not really green and they have done blood tests they would have ruled out infection which would have been the biggest concern.
Welcome to motherhood babe!! The land of stressing and not knowing LOL
I had what you are describing for most of my second pregnancy. My midwife said it was leucorrhoea which is an increase in normal vaginal discharge and if all you other tests are fine, it's just a normal part of pregnancy (but pretty gross too). You'll probably find that it sticks round until you have bubs. Mine did but I never had any symptoms of anything else just HEAPS of icky yellowy discharge. Hope that helps! x
I really have no idea about the 'blob' I didn't have any as you discribed but your CM does indeed increase ALOT as your pregnancy progesses (more so with DD2 for me). In regards to the spotting, when I was 19-20 weeks pregnant with DD2 I had two cases of spotting both happened after bowel movements, I was told that it was caused by straining even though I did not feel I strained at all.
Wow thanks Mad Scientist and DaintreeDream, that's actually whats been happening to me; I've had a huge increase in CM I'm glad to know thats normal!
DanintreeDream what you said about bowel movements and straining makes sense. Way TMI, but it did happen straight after a very strained bowel movement. I didn't think to tell the hossy, I was upset and forgot about it... perhaps that may have been a contributing thing.
Seriously that you so much everyone for your help, your all so lovely
