    Hi Rach,

Congrats! How awesome is feeling it on the inside?

I am 24 weeks and felt her for the first time on the outside about a week ago. It was just a one off that time but for the last week I generally feel her from the outside about once a day. Tonight DH felt her heaps on the outside which is awesome!

    Good luck!

Yeah I understand! I have been desperate for DH to feel it, especially seen as some movements feel so strong on the inside! I actually yelled out "yay" when I felt the first outside one! I was in the shower luckily, not out in public yelling

I would think it would be really soon that you get to feel him! Keep me posted!

I think it can be really hit and miss at 22 weeks as there is still sooooo much room for the baby to move around in - its difficult to know where to place a hand to get a direct kick.

DP was lucky enough to feel an outside movement at 20 weeks (but we had had a rotten week, so it felt like we deserved it) but then it was very sporadic after that.
Keep trying though, I'm sure that the baby will know it is your partner's hand on your belly and begin to know and bond with him through that

It depends on how the placenta is positioned.
I was able to feel most of my children around 18-20 weeks from the outside, but with DD3, her placenta was at the front (anterior) and I didn't feel external movements until around 25 weeks.

DP felt DD at 20 weeks. We were laying on the bed and I had his hand on my belly.
Make sure you're laying flat, that SHOULD make it easier for him to feel.

    Good luck.

i'm just starting to feel movements from the outside, and DS has felt one! He was so excited DH has trouble feeling our bubs move, they always seem to stop when he puts his hand there! I think they react to me speaking to let him know when to feel, and he doesn't have the patience to wait for it!!! The only one he has really felt was DD, she turned breech at 36 weeks, and whenever she tried to turn back he could feel her kicking soooo hard (she didn't make it back round)
Hope it's soon for you, it's a lovely thing to share
