Mine are PP too and sit over your belly with extra stretch and buttons in them - they are shaped really nicely though and you can't tell they are "Harry high pants " Ive also seen some nice ones at Kmart maternity the other day - they aren't too expensive either and the colour and cut look nice....
I'm going to try two maternity stores in Ormond (North road, just near the train station ) this Saturday (I've got nothing that fits - and I've been freezing all week with no trousers and no stockings in our crazy melb weather!) - I've heard one store in partic (dunno which) is meant to be really good. I'll let you know how I go! I've tried Target, but they didn't seem to have all that much when I looked.
Cheers,
Belfie
P.S. my first official 2nd trimester post - weeeeeee so exciting
Thanks to everyone, i wil def have another look in kmart and target and go to pumpkin patch on the weekend. Who ever knew it was so hard to find quality good looking clothes
I bought Black 'work' style pants from Target a little while ago. They have a roll down top and are completely stretchy however -The elasticy fibres that make up the pants have started to poke out in various places, like my bum, in between my thighs and near the stithcing on the outer sides of the legs. PFFT waste of money!!!!
I must admit though they were so comfortable that I was so chuffed with them before they started to pill elastic. Now I am looking for jeans hoping they may last a little longer - in the meantime its back to the good old yoga pants.
Speaking of yoga pants has any noticed that a pair of bonds yoga pants costs around $22 but a pair of the exact same pants from bonds with the word 'MATERNITY' plastered across the front are $35...... I just bought a new pair in my normal size without getting the maternity ones and they fit perfect and oh so comfy. (Sorry had to vent a bit there)
I have Target jeans and I have been living in them since I was about 12 weeks. They have a roll down top so I can either have it rolled down under my bump or rolled over my bump (which Imust admit I have been doing lately in our crazy Melbourne weather as bump has been getting quite cold). I have found them lasting the distance and they look good too. Again they have a fake fly and button but it really does make them look like jeans! And the price was a very reasonable $40. I was prepared to pay alot for my jeans as I wear them every day to work so to me it is worth having a quality pair, but so far haven't needed to buy the expensive pair!
I also have target jeans, which are pretty good, slight flare and a nice colour... the only thing I don't like is that the band at the top is black. I have seen one's now with a skin coloured band, but unfortunately they were like $90! I hate that maternity clothing is soooo expensive..... I also have the black work pants from target and have found them just wonderful. The elastic hasn't given any yet so I hope it doesn't!
