    Thanks heaps girls,

Im not too desperate right now, but not having any prelabour stuff was getting me down. Its good to know it still might happen at any time though. Fingers Crossed!

My first was like that. I remember sitting with my birth support partner at an appt, and saying that I really didn't feel any niggles or anything and that I thought I'd go days over. I went into labour at 2:30 the next morning, contractions started at a regular 8 mins apart, we left for the hospital around 10am, and bub was born 1:30pm.

The only outward sign was that we'd been at mum and dad's for dinner and apparently I was in a FERAL mood, making snide comments about everyone, especially DH and being really difficult, to the point that they sort of breathed out a sigh of relief when we left.

Mine was sort of like that. I was feeling down being over a week overdue with no sign of anything, then one morning I started to have a show and went into labour that day. So it doesn't have to be building up for weeks.

No prelabour here. I was even at the OB the night before I went into labour and she gave no indication that labour was in any way close. I woke up less than 12 hours after that appointment with my waters breaking in a massive gush and contractions starting about an hour later. Big surprise - as we were only at 36 weeks!

Wow - it can happen really quickly by the sounds of it. I was thinking that there would be signs that something was about to happen or it would only happen really quickly with second labours.
I'm still going to the gym and now I'm worried that my waters might break as I'm waddling along on the treadmill, the shops would be bad as well.
This is my second but I have no idea what I'm in for, last time we just rocked up to the hospital ready for a caesarean, no labour.
