I remember feeling that way in the final weeks. I thought 'what on earth am I doing, I haven't even baby sat or changed a nappy in my life!!' I was a bit scared of how short a time you have in hospital and then they send you on your way after a few days with a baby!

BUT, as soon as Maya arrived instinct kicked in and I was so amazed at how I knew what to do and when to do it!! It was such a fulfilling and wonderful feeling. The only thing I was nervous about was bathing but when I got home and was able to do it with no nurses looking over my shoulder and my DP to help me, it was fine.

Don't worry you will be amazed at how you handle everything as it comes from the labour to the birth to bringing up your beautiful baby
