    Anyone tried accupuncture?

I'm 38w 4d and have boked in for some accupuncture next week to help with my carpal tunnel symptoms which are becoming quite painful. I've never had accupuncture before and am a little nervous so just wondering if anyone has tired it either during pregnancy or not. I'm also going to let him know whatever he can do to help bubs along is ok!!!!!

I had it in my first pregnancy to help my morning sickness. I was nervous, but it was fine. I had one spot which was over-sensitive and made me dizzy when he put the needle in (so he didn't use that spot again) but apart from that I didn't feel much at all. Certainly no pain.

Good idea to use it for carpel tunnel.

My dh's cousin had a treatment at 41 weeks to induce labour and went into labour that night so she reckons it worked for that too.

Hi KyeG - do a search of the forums for 'acupuncture' and it will come up with a few posts that I have contributed to - rather than my re-typing it all out again!

In short - I love acupuncture, it's awesome, and it doesn't hurt
