Its really hard to give you advice mate, cos nobody knows what size their first baby is gonna be!! My smallest one was 8 pound 2, my biggest was 8 pound 11 - so they all fit nicely into 0000 - they were too long for 00000's straight away. (you remember the size of my husband don't you! lol)

lol thanks everyone for your replies!

Yeah I suspect it will be hard to give advice. I think Ill just pack both 00000's and 0000's. Do you think its okay if I wash them now?

I put mine in the drawers. Just less stuff I have to do when I'm larger and even more uncomfortable!! LOL

I used 0000 for the hosp, took mostly grow suits, singlets, mittens, hat, bring home outfit. and wraps :-) i washed them at the start of my third tri (i think) kept them in draws and my hospital bag, didnt use a plastc bag.
And 0000 only lasted 2weeks-month. So I washed my 000 stuff before birth as well

Well, neither of my bugs ever fitted into 0000 body suits....but DD was 9lb and 54cm long, and DS was 11lb 2oz and 59.5cm long!

If you are using Bonds growsuits, these are quite small...

I only pack 000 as a result. I did squeeze DS into a Baby Patch suit that I had bought for hossy, but only because it had no feet, so it looked like Shorts!

I normally use hospital baby clothes straight after birth, and then mine from the first bath etc in hospital.

This time I want bubs straight into a newborn nighty I have packed.

I then just packed 3 singlets, and 3 new Bodysuits. All are long sleeved. And 3 pairs of Socks. This has been what I have packed the last 2 times for bubs, and it lasted a 5 day stay and a 3 day stay.
