Definitely call your hospital, they won't mind at all if you come in to be monitored, that's what they're there for!

It's great that you are feeling some movement, but you should always get checked out when you feel worried .

Hopefully bub has just slowed down because she is ready to be born

i'd call. they are more than happy to give some suggestions and if it puts your mind at ease and shares the burden of your concerns then it is worth it.

no doubt it is just bubs getting into the 'firing' position LOL!. DD also began some sluggish 'dont bug me mum' movements the afternoon before she was born ITH.

I have heard but don't know if it's true or an old wives tale, that babies move less just before you go into labour.

You'd better call the hospital to be sure though.

i'd call hun.. theres no harm in calling to see what the nurses say.

i had dp drive me to the hospital (30mins away) at 3am friday morning, beause i wasnt 'feeling right' they monitored bub for a while, and i was right to go. no one knows your body but you, so do what you need to to put your mind at ease.

Yes call it can't hurt and will make you feel better. Tuesday is too far away to feel anxious all that time!

hi all, ended up getting DP to take me to hossy, they put me on the CTG and gave me iced water, i knew it would happen that she started moving right away, lol stubborn baby!
they also said i am having mild contractions 5 mins apart (but i couldnt feel them) and the MW said probably go into labour tonite and she will make the night staff aware! but having said that im not getting my hopes up too much! she said we should try DTD

DS did exactly the same thing. Completely stopped moving. I went to the hos' and they checked his heart. He was just sleeping and they couldn't get him to wake up, but his heart beat was fine. He was born two days later. Must have been prepping himself for the big event.
