    Mine blew out to massive size when I was pushing. I couldn't sit down for almost a week after the birth.
    They still give me trouble 8 years later but I'm too embarrassed to see a Dr (although not too embarrassed to tell everyone on the internet - go figure).

    Zazou, get thine butt to a doctor! If you are too embarrassed to show 'em to your GP, ask for a referral to a proctologist... they deal with a***holes all day long and won't even blink at the sight of yours. My mum had hers surgically removed a year or so ago and is so pleased that she did.

    Stevie, I had them after each delivery and used an ointment called Sheriproct. It was expensive and only available on prescription but it worked a treat (far, far more effective then Rectinol or the other over the counter treatments). I'm not certain that it is suitable for use in pg, but your doctor or pharmacist will be able to tell you.
