Yep it sounds like the beginnings of a 'show' - your cervix is getting itself ready for labour. I had a little bit of brown blood like that too with mine, but I never actually had a full on mucousy show.

The exact same thing started happening to me today, so thanks for posting the question and thanks everyone for the answers

i rang the hosy & they said not to worry about this. Its just a show due to my OB stretching my cervix yesterday

Haha, I also just called the hossy and they told me not to worry! Only if I start getting regular contractions should I be concerned! You take care x
