    Can babies crack their joints?

This is probably a really stupid question but sometimes when Ryan moves I can hear and feel a little "click" sound like the snapping of joints when you crack ur knuckles or back etc. What on earth is he doing??

I dunno, but I've heard it too.
Once it sounded so much like a pop I waited for the water gush, lol.

Their joints can crack like ours. I've picked up bubs and felt and heard clicking.

In that much fluid though wouldn't the sound be lessened?

I'm not sure it seems to coincide with him kicking maybe hes just knocking my joints out of place. It is very faint and i can feel it in my tummy, I didn't know how else to describe it other than it sounds like he's cracking his knuckle in my tum lol. What is ACTUALLY happening though I have no clue!!

I think they're joints can crack inside you. I used to hear a sound like you describe up near my ribs where her knees/legs would have been when I was heavily pg and now that she's out her knees crack alot, so I think that's what was happening inside when she moved too.

i hear those cracking noises quite regularly!! i usually notice them when i'm lying in bed at night or in the morning. i'm not moving at all and i know that the noise is DEFINITELY coming from inside my uterus!! the first few times it happened i was waiting for a gushing or trickling sensation as i thought my waters must have broken (have read somewhere that it can make a "popping" noise)...

I am no help but my bub does this as well. Seems to always be towards the top of my belly where his knees are i think.

Its a strange feeling and noise though.

I always thought it was bub moving and the fluid was making the noise - like when waves slap against the edge of a pier, I thought it was fluid moving. Because it sounded similar to when I'd drunk a glass of water and then moved suddenly, and you can hear it splish in your tummy. Well. I can anyway.

i never noticed it while pg but when Nixon was a baby his joints used to crack all the time. My osteo said it was quiet normal, so maybe they crack inside the womb also!
