So glad that something is happening for you. Here's hoping that you are labouring as I type! Can't wait to hear your baby news and celebrate bub's arrival

    Update:

Hi girls!! I felt a few niggles around 9pm last night so they put me on the monitors as my partner & mum were supposed to be going home. I was having 3 contractions in 10 minutes that I had to concentrate through, lasting around 40 seconds. The doctor was supposed to examine me at 11pm but they decided that since I was contracting they would give me 2 panadine forte and a sleeping tablet and send everyone home for some rest. Worked a treat as I got around 5 hours sleep, only waking occasionally because of a pain. They seem to have dropped right off now only lasting around 20 seconds and easily manageable. The midwife said last night she thinks the doctor will start induction this morning with either a membrane rupture or the drip or a combination of the two. I hope the gel did enough so that they can break my waters as they didnt even check me last night to see if I needed more gel applied

So now I'm going to jump in the shower, have a nice hot cup of tea and some breakie and prepare to meet my little man today!!

Enjoy your hot cuppa and take a long peaceful shower. It's going to be a while before you can take those things for granted again
    Good luck today.

The midwife has just come around and said there are 4 women in labour and it isn't looking good for them to push me into labour this morning. Now i feel like having a big cry. This is so unfair.

If there's not an emergency then it's better you are not induced.
