Danielle this could be bubs preparing you for birth. The pushing down feeling (constipated) is very common in late pregnancy and the loose bowel movements are a sign that bubs may be coming. Many women get these signs as labour is about to start. If it is starting to come in "waves" start timing them and see what happens Good luck hun

I don't see much rest happening... it's so uncomfortable... not sure weather sitting or laying down is more comfortable... it's not turning into anything yet... no real pattern or anything... and the constipation pressure is hanging around for quiet a bit before disappearing... or maybe not always lol cause that one only lasted a minute... I wish I had a light like the oven that just turned off when all ready, would totally take away the guess work in pregnancy.

I couldnt sleep through it either but tried to stay in bed as it started at midnight. I found lying on my left side with a heat pack on my lower back helped and rocking through the discomfort.

Rest as much as you can. I found it was the exhaustion the worst part of birth. And if they're irregular, it might be awhile. Do you know what position bub is in. I've heard with posterior bubs that ctx are more irregular. Mine was breech. Though it was slow to ramp up, they were regular from the start.

It may still be promodal labour. I've heard with some women they get it for days or weeks.

    Are you timing?

My labour with DS started with what I felt was constipation that came in waves. Rest up.
