Oh lovey, its probably not unusual. There are so many hormones running around and changing and such huge things going on. And the baby will make a huge difference... but in a beautiful way mostly.
Sorry i dont have any helpful tips to get you and DH hyped about the whole thing... but Im sure that feeling will come in time on its own. And you know about depression and how it feels so maybe talk to your Doc and give him/her an assessment of where you think you are at just so they are aware of it too, and can watch out for you.
TBH, im feeling a bit BLAH myself. Between the GD and the 10 different jabs and needles everyday, the house not being finished, the hot weather, all the bad news lately.... life kinds sux a bit... I think when things are going just the tiniest bit pear shaped then we PG ladies feel the full brunt of our emotions in a more extreme way than most.
Lets have a hot chocolate together and 4 tim tams each to see if that helps... not IRL of course cos that will mean more insulin...Ill put the kettle on, you grab the mugs.
