    Yes, it's normal to feel that way from time to time, maybe even for days at a time. If you feel like it is happening for more than a couple of weeks, then might be a good time to speak to your health care provider.

    But babies *are* a major disruption, right from conception. They are lovely and cute and wonderful and all that, but you get tired and sick and weary carrying them, and then they are born and on top of making you tired and weary, they *cry*. They cost money. They are distracting. I think it's realistic to feel a bit overwhelmed at times, particularly if you are dealing with other complications such as the ill health of a partner.

    Part of me wants to keep this baby inside forever, because I know all too well what it's going to be like when the baby is born. Yes, I will love it, but I know how exhausted and stretched I'm going to be with four other kids living at home to care for.

    The last few days for me have been just as topsy turvy with my moods.
    You'll be fine.
    I actually feel somewhat the same way as toomanytoomany!
    Stay in there baby, as long as you like! but I still am dying to meet you
