Oh no! That is so horrible of them! Everyone deserves antenatal care. Did she end up getting any?

I have one of my mum's cousins but we aren't close. Mum will fly up to be with me when he is due and if Joel does end up going overseas she will stay for the full 7mths that he will be away which is great! I just hope he gets to see his son before he leaves!

Thats good you have your mum, how sad that he would miss 7 months of bub's life though.
SIL has just been going to a GP. They have only been in Canberra 2 years before that they were in Darwin!

Yeah I just cried and cried when he told me....although it still isn't 100% sure that he will go. I would be able to fly overseas with bub to spend time with him on leave or he might even fly back, which would probably be easier. Like you said though it is sad. I don't want him to come home and feel all left out and not feel included or something horrible like that...I dread that the most
