I've had one.
It was excruciating- and she was too far "stuck" for it to have worked anyway.
They gave me ventolin to relax my uterus, it made me feel like I was in la-la land.
In saying that though- you gotta do, what you gotta do....
I would have it again, if it was needed.
GL hun.
One of my friends was booked in for one, but her baby turned from frank breech the night before! And her waters broke. And baby was born the day she was booked for the ECV, lol. Do it, you might scare the baby straight - good luck for your VBAC
this could be what I'm heading for too. will find out at my 36 week appt next week. bubs has been breech somewhere after my 24 week appt and I don't think he'll turn between now and next week. he seems quite settled head up and up high. I've been reading the risks and this does scare me. though I want to avoid a c-section if I can. OB said bubs' bum hasn't engaged so I've got a good chance of it working for me.
incomplete: It ain't over till its' over, my little one has managed to turn itself, had a scan yesterday to check and apparently there is less than 20% for transverse to turn, he even said breech is better! so hang in there!
