I'm in the same sort of boat and like you, am trying to do everything I can to avoid medication. Doesn't help when your OB tells you how normal you're being does it!
Do you literally have a bad headache constantly - like its the same one, or that you get one, lose it, get another immediately? If you're not getting a break from them it may well be worth asking your Ob for a prescription for panadeine forte You can then take a couple, go to bed (if you can) and try to really sleep it off. If you break the cycle, you might just get a reprieve. My Ob has recently given me a script for PF, although I am yet to take any because I haven't had a migraine since so apologies for "do as I say not as I do" advice! We had a very long talk about it because I'm very anti taking anything when pregnant. He was very confident in saying that so long as I'm not overdoing them, it will do me and the baby more harm constantly suffering from migraines than from taking a couple of panadeien fortes every now and then.
Otherwise, I'm using cold compresses, trying to limit computer and reading time, staying out of the sun as much as possible, keeping as cool as possible. I hope you get a break from them soon.
