You should go and see the hospital. I was told by my midwife that the slowing down prior to labour was a myth. I do not know if this is true as there is lot of conflicting advice and every seems to have a difference opinion. I just know from my experience that bubs did not stop moving and actually I think my movements increased in the last few days.
Definitely get checked, don't worry about what the midwives think . It could just be that your bub has changed positions and you can't feel movement like you were. It's always best to get checked for your own peace of mind.
As per the PP's, if you are worried then get it checked. Bub will move less as labour approaches but lack of movement is a reason to get checked out ASAP. Hopefully you went into labour after posting this and are cuddling your bub just now.
