    Hi Ladies,

    Is this normal-
for the past month or so i have been so swollen down there, i have heard of it happening for a few days then going again. but i have not changed it is even really tight to insert a finger. i am now 32 week. is it just all the pressure of bub doing that and will it go away before i am due?

Thanks and sorry for the detail

I hear ya! I look like a map of the world down there with added mountain ranges! Bits are swollen, bits are purple, bits are hanging down all over the place, didnt have this with my son but is apparently quite common. I hope it does go away afterwards as I look like I have testes when I'm wearing just me undies

    I've had swelling, too, sigh...

I started taking Inner Health Plus though (I also had mild thrush), and it has actually reduced the swelling a fair bit! I was getting really uncomfortable with it because bits were rubbing that didn't normally have any contact with my undies Anyway, it feels heaps better now

    Hope yours improves!

I have this at the moment as well. Yesterday I was very ooouchie down there so had a look and found all the swelling seems to be streaching my episiotomy scar.

    Not fun

    Gawd you make me laugh!!

But I totally agree with you. I got DH to give me a quick "de-forresting" and he uncovered some mighty swollen-up bits that looked more like something out of national geographic.

we had the same with last born hubbie couldnt even get in hahaha
And yep, it was a bit of a tight squeeze the other morning! Don't know how long we can keep that up (ha-ha...bad pun!!)

    I had the same

    hey there,
I had exactly the same. It all went back to normal once I had given birth, guess it's just all the pressure in that area.
