Maybe keep an eye on it for a few days, but this happened with my DS too. I noticed that even if I had just been to the toilet, eithin about 10 minutes, I would notice that I would leak a little. I thought how embarrassing that I cant even hold my wee in anymore. Just to be safe though, I called te hospital and they told me to come in just to check. When I got there, it was discovered that I had a small tear in my waters, and that was the leak. I had to be induced there and then to avoid infections. DS was born the next day.
Dont want to frighten you, but maybe just keep an eye on it for a few days, and if it keeps up, give the hospital a call.
Not long now....
oooh Tan - any devleopments?? Im having heaps of discharge now, and sometimes i have to stand there til it trickles and then I go loo to check and it definatley doesnt smell like wee so im guessing its just extra cm. I get the same thing to as most of the ladies, I come off the loo and notice a little leak, its disgusting I know, but im used to it now and im constantly wearing a panty liner!
Ok, here's what I know...
if ur waters do start to leak, they'll be clear (& midwifes say kinda sweet smelling, gross) & will just keep leaking (as it continues to replenish itself). When mine started leaking it was in bed at night & I had to get up every 20mins to go to loo but just clear watery fluid, midwives say to put panty liner in & go to hossie for them to test if it is waters. Eventually it will turn pinkish which i think they said is from tiny blood vessels popping as u start to dialate. There is a chance of infection setting in, especially if you tested positive to GBS (Group B Strep) so you should really get it tested. They may need to prescribe antibiotics in that case.
I've been getting wettness too, but it's diff to when my waters were leaking, diff smell too & not regular (eg: was every 20mins with waters for me).
Although this morning when I went to watch my nephews play soccer I had to go to the loo to check cause I felt wet... then again when I got home. I think if it were my waters (or anything to be concerned about) it would be more continuous and more of it.
