amniotic fluid has a sweet smell and once you smell it, you can recognise it anywhere. I know this doesn't sound like a pleasant prospect (what the hey? Most of pgcy is either uncomfortable or unpleasant), but smell the wetness.....then describe it. If it's a sweet (sickly sweet) smell, it'vs very possible it's ur waters....
