    Question natural suncreams

Hi I was wondering if anyone can suggest a natural based suncream that I can use on the baby when he is born, and up to 6 months of age. I have been to the shops and all suncreams state not recomended for babies under 6months of age.
Apart from staying covered up and being in the shade as much as possible, I still would really like to be safe and apply a suncream that is suitable for babies.

At my antenatal checkup today I asked the midwife and she suggested to try and find a suncream that was 'natural' and not chemical based.

    TIA.

No worries - the other one is UV natural baby sunscreen - I think I might get that one!

I wear the Soleo myself because it is naturally based with no petrochemicals. Not sure about on a newborn but I love it. It is quite thick and a little spreads a lot. A tube costs about $25 and you can get it from healthfood shops and chemists. I think it is made in WA. It is the only 'organic' type one I could find. I have used it for nearly 2 years now.

I was advised by a midwife not to put any sunscreens on a baby before they are 6 months old, and to simply cover them up when going out in the sun.
