I do have low platelets, at 28wks they were 130,000( meant to be between 150,000 and 400,000) then bt last week they were slightly lower, could this affect energy levels??
I sure hope I don't feel like this when bub is here I can't imagine how I I'll cope with 3 kids and no energy....
Hi, I felt the same. Don't be too hard on yourself. I actually felt better as soon as she was born. You don't realise how much pressure they are putting on your body and how exhausting it all is. Good luck for tomorrow
I'm concerned because I have felt like this for a lot of my pregnancy. I'm worried if I feel this sad, what will it be like when I have the baby? Will I be able to love it?
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. It's the weekend and my husband will be home.
miati. there is such a thing as antenatal depression - there's some good info on the PANDA website. it could be worth talking to someone before the baby arrives to let them know how you feel (although i know it's very close now!!) and see if talking it through with someone helps i believe that talking it through/seeking help before the baby arrives can help lessen the chance of PND.
fwiw, you definitely don't have to be happy all the time! PG is a time full of crazy hormones & added stress to your body. but at the same time, you don't want to be sad all the time
I feel exactly the same. A few weeks ago I had a blood test which came back my iron levels were really low (should be around 20 apparently I mine came back at 4). Doc said for me to get some iron tablets & B12 tablets which I took until he said too. I felt better but now I am not taking them (as he said to stop at 36wks) I am back to being very lethargic & tired again. I hate feeling like this! Makes me worry how I will cope with my 20mth old and a newborn when bub arrives.
