I checked with my midwife, and yep, they're all normal pains - she always looks happy to hear about my pain! the most she could recommend was a heat pack and panadol if it gets that bad! my mum took me to their house on her day off for a nice long soak in her bath, and I had the best night sleep i've had for ages - only woke twice to go to the loo! the next night though, back to waking more often, due to things hurting!
My husband has to help me off the couch too - I still do it on my own as well, except a few times, I've almost over balanced and ended back up on the couch, after flailing around my arms for a few minutes to try and right myself - hubby reackons its hilarious!! I am also grunting all the time - i'm spending a lot of time sitting on the floor with my legs wide open and pelvis tilted forward, as recommended by my yoga instructor (who's also a midwife), but its so difficult to get up and down, and the groans that accompany the movement again cause my husband to crack up laughing!
