That is the funniest thread heading I've seen in a while.
At my 38wk appointment with DD1, the midwife told me that she was a big girl and I laughed it off. At my next appointment I was booked in with the registrar to check me out because the midwife thought the baby wasn't engaging because her head was too big and wouldn't fit in my pelvis. The registrar wasn't concerned and it turned out the DD1 was 4kg with a head circ of 38cm or 36cm depending on who measured it but I think that size is the "norm" these days. I needed an episiotomy but that is because my perineum let me down (wouldn't stretch or tear both times).
DD2 was 50g smaller than DD1 and nobody said anything about her size this time around.
Please try not to worry about the comments on size. I let the midwife's comments scare me and that was all I could think about.
