wow im glad i found this post. I have had the same thing including two occasions where as I rolled over at night I heard a HUGE cracking sounds which freaked me out big time - i saw my GP about it and he explained it was the bones clicking over the ligaments ... i see my ob on tuesday so might mention this to him as well ... i cant remember this happening with DD though -
hope you get some relief and your OB can help leeloo
I've been having that the last few nights, though only when I roll over at night time (is OK when walking and sitting). It just feels like the pelvic bone has alot of pressure on it or similar...
Happymummu - I have also been having the crackling for a while now when I roll too...good to know what it is. Wasn't anywhere near bad enough to go to the doc about it.
I am 32 weeks and I have been having this pain for almost a month on and off...Babies head is down and I thought it was all just the pressure of the head. I found it a nightmare to walk or move in bed...only recently has it stopped but babies head is still down
Well I saw my Osteo and my pelvis was slightly twisted which was causing the pain, but also it is to do with the ligments underneath separating slightly!! A good exercise he gave me to do which will strengthen and stop the separation is to lie on your back with knees bent, then fold 2 pillows in half and put them both between your legs.... Then squeeze then together for 5 to 10 seconds... Repeat a couple of times!! If it hurts, stop and just try to do as many and for as long as you can manage!! I do them every night and they have really helped me!!
I too have been getting the same thing, I have a constant backache, hard to walk, feel like ive been kicked in the crotch and sleeping is just about non existant at the moment due to the pain in my hips. This im DD no: 3 and I got it with DD no 2 but this time its worse.
Yay! Thankgod I have found this thread too! I've have been in agony, can't walk without walking severly weird, my pubic bone feels like it's been kicked like it's badly bruised, I can't stand on one leg to put my undies or pants on! Rolling over in bed, getting up out of bed to go to the toilet is almost tear evoking! And stupid me has been going for 1.5 hour long walks! No wonder I can't move! I am definetly mentioning this to my Ob tomorrow!
