    Pains

I need help. I am currently on blood pressure medication for suspected pre eclampsia, my bp is stilling around 130/84 which my ob thinks is good.
Over the past three days I have been experiencing quite a bit of pain in the lower back and around the lower stomach area. Should I be concerned.
My vision is off (spotty and not clear) and have pains/pressure in my upper stomach/Chet area.
Every time I ring the midwives I feel like I am overreacting.
I am currently 31 + 4 weeks pregnant with my second child and feel totally different.
Is any one else experiencing pains and discomfort like this?
    Thanks

I would go in and demand to be monitored, that doesnt sound right hun. Not sure about the belly pain, but the vision disturbances and other pain doesnt sound good.
Please dont feel like you're overeacting, the midwives are there to take care of you.

hun, hope all is ok and bub can stay inside a while longer.

Go in straight away, you're describing more symptoms of PE. I hope it's nothing, good luck!

Yep head in to be checked. Vision changes are definitely something that has been drummed into me by my ob as a sign to get checked. No one will think you are overreacting to this but if you ignore it and it's PE they will say why didn't you come in??

    Re: Pains

I had blurry vision at 38w and it was due to high bp. So get your bp checked please.

If your vision does not clear fairly fast after sitting and resting, and you have pains. Please go in and be monitored.

Stuff the midwives imo, your blood pressure at the very least is high if your having vision issues and needs to be checked.

    Fingers crossed for you x

I went in to be monitored yesterday....my BP was 130/77 which is within normal ranges, but high for this pregnancy, which is usually 110/70. I had small amounts of protein, but they sent me home anyway....I've had a migraine for the last 3 days, which seems to be somewhat better today, but still there....am thinking of making an app to see the midwife this Thursday just to get checked again :-/

I hope you're ok and it turns out to be nothing. But don't worry and do get checked out

I had flashy, blurry vision a couple of times and when I rung my ob wanted me in straight away to be monitored. I was sent home an hour later (after checking protein and blood pressure), but I'd definitely get it checked. It sounds like you have lots of symptoms of PE.

So I got brave and drove the 30 mins into hospital. To be told there is nothing wrong with me or bubs, take some parasol and go home. If I am worried ring my obstetrician.

Awe, that is good and bad I guess, hopefully they are right and not just brushing you off. Are you still having the issues?

Symptoms have not changed. Bp is sitting around 130/94 ( I check morning and night with my own machine). I bought some urine test strips so I can now test for protein from home. Bubs movements have slowed down a bit and doesn't seem to be following the usual pattern.
I have an appointment with my ob this Wednesday.

Can you ring your ob and explain and see if you can get in earlier?

    Re: Pains

That diastolic blood pressure is quite high, which is more of a worry.

I wouldn't wait until Wednesday, call your ob and explain how worried you are. You need to be checked out for reassurance if for nothing else

What Trav said. Trust your feelings and make them listen to you and try to see your OB before then.
