I'm sorry that you were listened to with the support that you needed. I too would be quite worried and would want some real reassurances and to not feel fobbed off. Is there a way for you to call your OB office directly?

Things to tell them are: high BP, blurry vision, reduced fetal movement, and strong pains across your lower back and abdomen. Tell them that it just doesnt feel right and that you are quite concerned. Tell them that you want to be monitored. You do not need to ask for permission to be assessed, you just tell them to do it. (if you are finding that hard...as i would too...get your DH to do it for you).

Yep I would go to my OB asap. I doubt your OB would want you to sit at home anyway, when I had BP issues they always insisted I come in within 30mins to be checked out.

Trust your instincts and go to see them.

Whereabouts are you? I'm birthing at Swan Medical in Perth and the Maternity ward has a little room where you can drop in during buisnes hours for any concerns. They'll check BP, strap a fetal monitor to you, take blood etc, and of course call an OB if you wish. I wonder if its worth you calling the hospital and trying to get seen there instead? I think sometimes the midwives are far more thorough than the OB's. Good luck.

BTW - my blood pressure has been the same as yours thorughout this pregnancy adn the docs aren't worried about it at all, and say that while it is on the high side, it is still within the normal range for pregnancy.
