Well funny you should mention carpal tunnel syndrome. Four years ago I had my right wrist operated on due to a thing called dequervains disease, much the same as carpal tunnel from what I have read. The tendon had to be cut and realeased it was very painful indeed.
I don't seem to be having the problem at the moment thank goodness.
