I had calcification of the placenta. My OB noticed it at my 38 week check up, like Alan said its getting towards its used by date. Because I had a c-section with my DS my OB thought it was best to do another c-section at 39 weeks. I now have a healthy little Baby girl. I am sure you have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for that…. my only concern now is that your calcified placenta was detected at 38 weeks (full term). I was only 32 weeks…
Can’t wait for this Friday OB appointment.
