You are not a bad mum! I have a 3yo who is seriously clingy and doesnt like sharing his mum with anyone. He throws punches at the other kids if they try and come near me when he is on my lap. Obviously this was a little concerning, so I have made a point of including him in all the info about the baby. It really helped to show him that inside the bump was a little person, which I did by getting one of those "your babies progress" side views from a baby webbie. A really good one shows up by googling "40 weeks pregnant". We sit down together and read stories to the baby. I always make sure I give him the opportunity to feel her kicking when she is awake. It does seem to have worked as now when he wakes up in the morning he givs my belly kisses and a big cuddle. He really is going to be a good big brother.

I plan on ensuring he stays involved when she is born too. That way he will always know that baby time isnt taking from him.
