Danni,
I don't know about bubs kicking your ribs, but when I was pg with DD, I used to hear clicking sounds and I think it was her joints cracking inside me. When she was born and still now even, her knees crack quite a bit, so I think it was that.
Okay, this may sound REALLY strange but I have to ask to see if anyone else has experienced this. I am 33 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and this bubby is VERY active.
The other night when lying in bed, little bubs was moving around full-on when I heard a sound, hard to describe but like a "click" noise coming from my belly. I freaked out and thought no way, don't be silly, it's just my senses working overtime but the following night I had the exact same thing happen. It feels like the baby is flicking his/her little feet on my ribs and I also woke up with bruised ribs because the kicking was so hard through the night. Could it be that the "click" sound I'm sure I heard could be the baby kicking my ribs or flicking it's gorgeous feet around??Oh gosh, you probably think I sound so loony!

I never had anything like that, but, i can remember some one posting ages ago about a clicking noise from within, so, you are not alone, and you are so not looney.
I had it too with my first pregnancy, but not so far with this one. I think it's just "one of those things".
I've had that noise too - kinda almost sounded like a bubble popping - I get it from time to time - also have a very overactive little one here :-)
I have had that too! Everyone thought I was nuts![]()
Oh wow, I never thought it may be joints cracking. I am so relieved that others have experienced this and I'm not going nuts!!! I've just never heard of anything like this before. It's just so amazing. Thanks so much ladies for sharing your experiences.
oohh.. i had that twice the other day.. i forgot to ask my ob when i saw him yest. i was worried it could have been something dislocating...
i have hypermobile joints, my knee has 'spontaniously' dislocated before, and I got worried that bub might have the problem too.
I wonder what the clicking could be... could bub feel any pain?
