High BP can be sign of PE, which can be very serious for you and baby as berrme says. Also don't want to freak you out, but worth getting a check. If hossy said you can go in, i would go. It may be nothing, just high BP due to pregnancy which can happen, but always best to be on the safe side. What happens to the baby if I have high b.p?? I am still feeling movement and cervix pains.
In my case, due to PE my placenta was shutting down, DD was born a pretty average length but only 2.6kgs. Basically she wasn't getting enough nutrients from the placenta. I didn't realise quite how serious it was until she was born. Then i finally understood why everyone was freaking out about my BP and the fact she had stopped growing.
