Talking Seriously, whos shagging in 3rd trimester!

Ok im having the biggest attack of the guilts. My hubby wants our sex life back and although my libido has returned (after 8 months of dormincancy!) I can not seriously think of a comfortable way to 'do it' at the moment!!!! I feel fat and the thought of the baby wiggling around in there while we are doing it makes me squirm too! hahahahahaha Is anyone out there actually doing it in the last few weeks of pregnancy!? So embarrassed to write this

LOL, glad you raised (excuse the pun) this topic.

We have tried a few times of late but DH is a little freaked out about squashing me and bub and afterwards I tend to get fairly full on Braxton Hicks which freaks him out even more.

So yes we have tried but it was a bit of a logistical exercises.

Twice in the last 4 months!

Poor DH, I do feel bad but it seems mutual because I dont really feel like it and DH is completely weirded out by the thought of the baby being right there. He won't even do it with the cat and dog in the room, let alone almost touching bubs head.

We were very sexual in 3rd trimester but dh wouldnt dtd because i was losing mucus plug for weeks prior to labour and he though that was grose. So we did other things

After this bubs is born I can safely say I will never be doing the 'spoon' position again. OVER IT!

*blush* our house is the Mojo Mothership this trimester! Thanks Renee - , was going to suggest that one but I won't be able to use that possie myself now when the logistics get a bit difficult as it'll remind me of your comment!!!! Ummm... I suppose there's more than one way of making curry, if you know what I mean!

Nope, not I!! Haven't my whole prg. I had a m/c last year and during my first prg tended to have bleeds every time we dtd so it's too stressful for me to contemplate at the moment.

I thought my DH was OK with it because he knows the reasons why, but after some revelations last night, it appears he's not

heheh such a funny subject.. after all its what got us all in these positions in the first place.. lol

dh and i have only done it about 4 times since finding out we were pg and now we are in the 3rd tri.. i think my libido is starting to come back.. but like most of you we too feel a little strange about the baby being right there and dh is afraid he might squash me or the baby.

we did try the spooning position but its quite boring

maybe you could try doggie style because then you can control how deep the penetration is.

if all else fails then remember there are other things you can do instead of actualy intercourse

hahaha you girls are hilarious!! Yeah we have done it about 4 times this pregnancy too. I feel sooooooooooo sorry for DH....its just so uncomfortable and not to mention the tiredness. I have two other little boys, so im often in bed hours before DH and totally passed out when he crawls into bed. I honestly think he has given up and thats what has made me feel so bad!!. I think he is used to the big "regection" now Spooning....might have to give it a go! lol I think im the one who is more weirded out about the baby being right there, rather than him. I dont think he really minds to be honest OH well....only 5 weeks to go!! But then again.....breastfeeding makes libido go away all over again! HAHAH He has no chance.....poor fella!

Ok, so it's not exactly the Mojo Mothership at my house, but there has been an occasional dalliance - a very ungainly dalliance - feel like I need a crane LOL - but I'm sorry to say I always pay for it with additional back & pelvis pain the next day...

My DP is happy to. Even on nights when I don't really feel like it - I always let him have his way IYKWIM!!!

I don't ever want him to feel rejected by me, just a personal choice though - plus I think I have been pretty lucky with this pregnancy - sometimes get crampy afterwards, but no real morning sickness and no other problems with baby or me - so all is good.

I suppose it would be different if there were some complicating factors.

And the position - spooning is def the easiest!!

Hehe, my DP & I haven't had any issues dtd to date, but we did see the movie Knocked Up last night, which has quite a funny scene in it that relates to dtd later in PG. If you haven't already seen it, it's worth a look!

We have done it about 4 times so far too (seems like four is the magic number). I am 23 weeks and not "too" big yet but it seems to be getting a bit more difficult each time. As well as this, I have been keeping DH happy in other ways too.

My libido is higher than usual and has been for the past three weeks which DH and I are both enjoying.

What about us gals on top? That way there isnt too much squishing and squashing going on and we can control certain things .....

All i can say is TOYS...lmao invest in some senusal toys for the man, it takes alot of pressure off feeling like we should be pleasuring our men! While hubby and i did try it once or twice throughout our entire pregnancy i didn't feel comfy due to previous m/c's i just didnt want to do anything to disrupt the pregnancy - not that sex would but hey i got paranoid...

When hubby said anything about wanting some i would just say go play with senso I was a cruel woman i tell ya
