I hate cocoa butter, don't like the texture and I think it is hugely overrated as a moisturiser - it just doesn't suit my skin at all!

I used a cream called Happy Event from 12 weeks, on the recommendation of my mum, who used it with all 3 kids and didn't get any stretch marks. Neither did I during my pregnancy. I accept the hereditary argument but the thing is I am actually prone to stretch marks - I have some on my hips and around a scar on my back from when I put on weight during my teenage years. I guess I'll never know for sure if the cream helped but I will certainly be slathering on the Happy Event next time I am pregnant. You can get it from pharmacies for about $5.50 a tube.
