    Swollen vagina (TMI warning)

    Hello,

I decided to start using EPO's internally a few days ago but my vagina is so swollen and scratchy feeling that it is near impossible to insert the tabs comfortably. This is my second pregnancy and I can't remember this region being so swollen. My perinium area is swollen as well. Is this normal? BTW I am 38 wks

sorry I'm a bit slow when it comes to code words so have no idea to what a EPO is ? but if you are 38wks how the hell are you able to see anything down there even with a mirror as by that stage I am soooooo big I couldnt see a thing. Anywho babys head may have just droped and as you do that earlier the 2nd time round this is prob why you have noticed this time round. So sorry if I got your post all wrong..

    Hi Bekz

Yes swelling is quite normal. It s caused in part by the increase in your bloo supply and the reduced return from your lower body. However I would be a little oncerned about the scratchy feel and suggest that you get this checked.
