OMG, so what are you going to do, AJP? Do you need to do strengthening stuff? Can it be assisted with the brace? It just all sounds so painful...she has told me my pelvis is jammed!

i think its pretty much delt with by manipulation!! (i think) its very out of wack!! makes sense why ihave had pain for sooooo many years!!!
Yeah I think i have this slightly! My pelvis and pubic area hurts when i roll over in bed sometimes so have to make sure my pillow is between my legs and as i roll over my legs are kept tight!! ouchies.... can just feel everything stretching most days getting ready for the birth....
Some days worse than others but most days im fine i just make sure i get out of the car carefully etc and don't get up too fast.
I too am suffering from SPD really badly at the moment. I've been in and out of hospital the last 6 weeks with severe pain to the point where i cant walk and am now on daily panadeine forte to help me cope a bit better. I am hoping to be induced next week because i can hardly move without feeling like im splitting in half down there. I have a degenerative spinal condition as well though which is the cause of a lot of the pain but i know just how you must be feeling. Like other BB members have already mentioned the best thing is to seek advice and support from a physio or osteopath as the pain will tend to get worse towards the end of pregnancy. I have found my physio to be great as she really understands what im going through and has been so supportive and also a belly belt has been great as it takes a bit of the pressure off my pelvic area. Hope that you find some type of relief![]()
