thread: Is there anything I could do to stimulate labor naturally?

    Get your husband to go out of town. Worked for me. That and an electrical storm. However if you cant control the weather, try getting up and down alot from your couch. My water broke as I was getting up of the couch......... to get an extention cord for my dad who I then leaked on. Serves him right making a pg woman get up!

    im another one with a vote for DTD!!!! worked for me both times!
    first time i went into labour 24 hours later
    second time i went into labour half an hour later!!!!!

    i also mowed the lawns the day before

    Sounds great. I am eager to get the baby out from my belly. Will try to do some crouching. I've been having some pelvic pain I think primarily due to my pelvis loosening up getting prepare for birth.

    I've washed everything I possibly could in the house. I'm even doing another load of laundry as I am typing. Then there will be no more laundry.

    DH is at work now, but DD is keep me on the ball. So, will go out with her in the garden and do some garden work maybe this will also help the water to break! Crossing my fingers... and toes!

    Carmen2- I think it was the Evening Primrose Oil tablets that this lady was taking, that helped her to not tear.
