Sounds like you all have irritable uterus.

Ive had IU with #1, #4 and #5.

From about 30 wks i would get regular bouts of contractions that would go on for hours at 5 mins apart and then they would stop. Then the next week i would have it again. With #1 it saw me have hospital admissions every time i had them but she had to be induced at 38 wks.

#4 was born at 35wks and #5 was induced at 37 wks.

All 3 of them were super fast labours at 3hrs 20 mins (first baby), 1hr 4mins (hospital noted, was contracting for ages but established active labour was just over 1hr) and 3hrs 23mins.

Keep an eye on them and get checked if u are concerned, i got checked every time it went on for more than 2 hrs or so. #4 was actually in distress from the constant contractions so they moved her along faster, that said though i think i was actually in labour with her because those contractions went on for more than 24 hrs without letting up, the others it would stop after about 8 hrs or so. I also had cervix change with #4, with the others i didnt.

So yes, get checked if u are at all concerned.
