i do know someone who homebirthed at 35 weeks, and was able to stay home but it was incredibly intensive for mum and the midwife. basically 24 hour kangaroo care in bed for mum and baby, with frequent midwife visits and a whole lot of feeding difficulties. that your little one just stays comfy for a few more weeks.

    Well, today has been awesome!
the first since Tuesday where I didnt feel like I was in early labour tight as a barrel BH still (but to be expected at this stage of pg!). all the nausea disappeared, the period cramping gone and totally awesome is that my belly is no longer squeezed just around bubba (gone back to being a normal round pregnant shape).

I am hoping that all this resting has paid off

Now don't go thinking that just because today was a good day that you can forget about the resting up OK? Don't make me come down there and make you rest

YAY! I though to update this thread! Officially 36 weeks and can now officially have baby at home! WAHOO! have reached this milestone after ALOT of rest and stress, but now there is some pressure taken off. we all want to see us get to 37 weeks so that bubs can really fatten up more, but I do feel a whole lot better that there won't necessarily have to be a mad dash to the hospital

It is so nice now to simply deal with BHs....I never knew that I would say that but after all the PTL it is nice to feel something normal without the worry of going into full blown labour ITMS.

Thank you to everyone that has come on here to reply and offer support over the last 2.5 weeks, it really has meant ALOT
