Good to hear you got checked out, its always best to do so when you are concerned
Being a long time essential hypertension sufferer (high bp not related to pregnancy) and someone who had PE and high BP at the end of 6 of my 7 pregnancies while medicated, i was going to say your headache doesnt sound classic of a bp headache. BP headaches are behind your eyes and and out to your temples but generally equal on both sides, they dont tend to be on just one side. Its the bottom number they worry about most with bp, 140/90 is the lowest level of high during pregnancy, so with urs being 80 it was still in a good range. When i had PE i had high bp, alot of swelling and protein in my urine. Its ok to have a trace of protein but when u get into 1+ and 2+ and higher then you are looking at there being issues.
Never discount how your feeling though, if you dont feel right, go and get checked always. Sending lots of labour vibes for baby to come soon for you
Haven't read all the posts but i got PE at 37weeks. bp went up to about 140/90 which is normal high but it went up from about 110/60 for me. I also had proteins and headaches. I got put in hossy over the weekend for obs. they discharged me then i came back during the week to antenatal. They decided to induce me at 39weeks because my mum was on life support for p.e with me and was very sick with my sister. Although I was only a mild risk he would rather no risk and i was 39wks anyway (whereas my mum had me 6wks early). I was induced with no dramas. had a four hour drug free labour.
hope all is ok for you
