Woke up, made this face --> (5am) and ran to the bathroom leaving a trail of fluid behind me, *TMI* smelt fluid thought "ew" and "smells like semen"
Then waited for DF to wake up and realise I wasn't there while still leaking like a burst water main. Then he cleaned up the "trail" (haha sucker) and called the hossy, finished packing bags and went in for a check up.
Got sent home to wait for contractions, so had a snack at the shops, got some accupuncture to get things going, get lunch on the way home (freak out whoever asked when I was due by telling them my waters broke already lol).
Spent the afternoon watching movies while waiting for regular contractions that never came.
When I was getting to uncomfortable at home we went to hossy, the drive was horrible as MIL seemed to think we were in a huge hurry and every (very hard or at least it felt like it) acceleration triggered a contraction.
Lol Um... Got a bit carried away there, sorry, but that's how it went- I'm kinda amazed I remember every little detail, especially since I cant remember yesterday or any other day of the last 11 and a half months

When my contractions start, they start with a massive bang! So I don't get a chance to do anything like cleaning, showering or anything like that lol. I usually just scream at dh about how I reeeeeeally hate labour, and I want it to all go away lol
My first labour was under two hours from first contraction to holding my baby, I thought when it started that maybe it was a false alarm, luckily I had my mother there and my partner making me go to the birth centre. I thought my first quick labour was a fluke until my second baby, who was born 5omin after first contraction, needless to say alot of the same running around to get in the car and go, it took all my might not to have her in the car. THe third baby (10 weeks ago) we decided a home birth, no more horrible car trips I wanted to stay in. The midwife lived an hour and a half away, so the plan of attack was for me to lay down and stop gravity a little. The break between babies was 6 years and I was told (by varying people)that all births are different, it's been 6 years, it might be longer this time etc etc. So i thought yeah maybe it will be longer. One contraction I knew this was it, within 15 minutes i was in transition but stayed laying down for as long as I could, hubby filled up the pool, which slowed it down a little, but all i wanted to do was push... PUSH, so again I was holding on but this time for the midwife to come to me... she arrived I was so relieved and had bubba 15 minutes after she arrived. So my longest labour thus far 2 hours! It was glorious being at home and having a 'slower' labour. So basically when I go into labour it's not much time for anything but the essentials.
we went fishing for a few hrs lol. we were there for about a hr and contractions got to 5min apart so headed home and went on BB chat to se if it was real then rang the hosp to let them know and tried watching greys anatomy.
