I am so sorry that you have been frightened by what your OB told you. ((((big hugs))))

I can understand how the thought of having a c-section would be scary!!

Too often I hear of womin being told they may require a c-section because of a big baby, when as David pointed out, they are very rarely required!! Your body would not grow a baby that was too large for you to birth. Your amazing body is perfectly designed to push out your baby and has prepared itself to do so throughout your pregnancy!

US is very unreliable in determining the size of a baby in utero. My best friend was told to be induced at 37 weeks because an US showed she was carrying a huge baby, which she went through with, but when her baby was born, he was 6lbs and spent his first week in the NICU.

If you haven't already done so, read up as much as you can on natural birth to empower yourself. This may help you to trust your body and the natural process of pregnancy and birth.

Your body is beautiful and perfect, and you CAN do this!!
