You develop exit strategies for the furniture you DO sit on.
Your partner doesn't make the bed. Not because he's unhelpful, but because he fears the ear-bashing he might cop if he disturbs the pillow arrangement on your side of the bed

when the most comfortable thing you own to wear are your pj's
when you have to stop and rest are doing something as simple as washing the dishes
you wake up every time you roll over in bed, because it is such an effort to rearrange the pillows

When you get up to pee for the god knows how many times and by the time you are back in bed, arranged your pillows and have gotten comfy you feel like you need to pee again.

LOL unless you've got a wriggly baby - in which case the tummy is about the worst place to put a drinkWhen you no longer need a table to put your drink on- the belly will do
Also your tummy gets so wriggly it scares the cat away, when the cat is asleep next to you.
