I definitely agree that it doesn't make sense!

Was just a bit disturbed at the thought of taking a red pen to his words - anything on paper in a school becomes official and can come back to haunt you later... And doing anything to annoy your son's teacher could just ensure he has a year of misery.

But as Efjay says, it's probably a case of he typed these up because he wanted to put the same thing in a lot of diaries and because he was on the computer he slipped into facebook mode or something. Or there's been a cut and paste error and so it doesn't say what he means it to.

    Yeah, I agree with BW.
Teachers are only human and they make mistakes too. I can't think of any way in which using a red pen on that note could be constructive for your son.

Just leave it. If his reports are written in text speak then do something about it.

I think that he needs some English & grammar lessons himself. Plus he appears to be talking in riddles? Strange! I would be requesting a parent/teacher interview.

The sentance structure and the use of tho are definitively odd coming from a teacher...especially a literary teacher.
I hope you get some answers.

ETA. Hahahaha! Just read this to DH as I was so appaled. He suggested taking a red pen to the note and marking corrections in spelling, underlining contradictory statements and making a comment on the bottom saying something to the effect of 'Please resubmit this work'.
    Yeah, he's a smart-a$5 but I love the idea!
    love it
