    Just. Do. It. She will likely be grateful for the help and if she's not, tough. Your kids will love it and others at the school might also be interested.

    As a teacher who has just picked up PE and having not done the role before I would LOVE someone to do something like that for me! Chances are she is run off her feet with all the other stuff she has to do so having some help would be ace! Just keep touching base with her about requirements the school has around first aid, teachers attendance, timetable changes etc.

    I am involved as a volunteer with a non-profit organisation. I can very firmly say that nothing is more irritating than someone who has lots of great ideas but wants me to do everything. We are always suggesting that people take on their ideas and run with them. If I were her I would be very grateful if you suggested that you organise it. She may just not want to ask you.
