Is it presumptuous to offer to take over organising a school entry into a sporting event?

My boys are keen to compete in the snow-sports inter-schools this year (mainly so they can prance around in the bibs). You can't enter as an individual, you have to enter as a school. I have asked the sports co-ordinator at our school and since this is her first year in the role she hasn't done it before although the school has entered before.

I've been giving her email addresses and so on to help her out but she is really busy (she's the librarian as well) and I'm starting to feel like I'm harassing her. If I offer to take over and do it all myself would that be rude? If she does it this year she will know how to do it in future which might be a positive for her.
