LOVE IT!!! Our local school does it as does the school we sent DD too, but not to the same degree as our local, I think you're near me so pm me if you want!!
Our school implements her approach to a degree and I have been to a few of her talks. I really loved her no nonsense approach and is not afraid to be straight with you. Google WLA and Early Life foundations for some great background reading.
Given that learning is a life long journey and really to be successful as an adult you need to be motivated and self directed I think this approach will really help prepare the kids. I have been blown away at how my little prep has been investigating different topics, following different tangents and then reflecting upon what she has learnt. The kids seem so excited and keen to get going and the teachers are amazing at dissecting the different topics and stretching the kids out.
