Finally bought myself a camera, so now there'll be millions of photo's added aaaaaaall the time! I'm shockingly addicted to photography... can't afford it though, lol.

Clover & Vix - Thanks for your advice re the formula and about Noah. Really appreciate it heaps! I too think it must be the heat, he has been much better the last 2 days and has been sleeping better too (only waking for his usual 1am feed), although last night I gave him a top up feed at 10pm before I went to sleep and he slept all up from 7:30pm til 4:00am (he didn't really wake when I fed him at 10pm). Yay!!! :dance:

Clover - Yay on your digital camera and great photos on FB! You're quite the photographer there! Love the pics you have taken so far!! ;) Noah weighed 5.19kg at 8 weeks and then 5.32kg at 9 weeks, then 5.57kg at 10 weeks. Sounds like Summer is gaining weight really well. :clap: Did I ever mention that I too use a nipple shield to feed Noah? According to the midwives in hossy there's nothing wrong with my nipples, but Noah doesn't open his mouth big enough to suck properly either and so they suggested a nipple shield. Seems to be working well and I don't have to worry about sore and cracked nipples.

Vix - Yay on Alannah's giggles, how adorable! I swore I heard Noah give me a little giggle the other day as well, but not a 100% sure. I'm sure he'll do it sooner rather than later though! lol Can't wait!! He does seem to be cooing more and it seems to be getting louder! lol Noah doesn't suck his thumb, he sucks his fist and tries to put his whole fist into his mouth sometimes, making himself gag! Funny to see the faces he pulls though...lol

AFM, had a really good night and feel pretty good this morning. My little monkey woke at 6:30am, had a feed, then we had a play and he just went back to sleep about 15mins ago. I have popped on some of his washing and just had some brekky (all in 15mins - I'm getting quicker at things while he's asleep! lol) Hopefully today is not as hot as it's been the past few days...

ETA - Forgot to say that I finally gave in and DTD, but man it hurt like hell!!!! Have read everywhere that it's normal, but OMG...at this stage I don't know if it'll ever feel NORMAL and NOT painful again!!! :(

Not much new here..still have not had my ultrasound on my Thyroid...did I mention that last thread? Can't remember but anyways, my GP wants me to get one done and now I am freaking out! Hope to get it done later this week as DH is going to work a half day so we can drop the boys off and go Chrissy shopping.

Pretz - Glad Noah slept better for you last night. I forgot about Alannah and didnt go into until almost 9am this morning and there she was happily sucking her thumb and staring at her Disneyland picture on her wall. When I carry her she knaws on her knuckle on my shoulder and I swear she is going to knaw her knuckle right off one day.

Clover - ooohhhhh a new camera! We are buying ourselves a new one (from Santa) this yr. Just an upgrade of the Olympus we already have. What one did you get?

JCE - Good to hear from you. Where abouts are you off to for your hols?

Okay, off to tidy up whilst the boys are at MIL's today!!!! Girly day. I have a gf coming over this arvo for a cuppa.

Pretz - Woo hooo on DTD!! Its a big step - sorry to hear it hurt. I dont enjoy it at the moment. But my libido was shot after I had Summer so I know it will return ... ONE DAY!! :lol:

AFM - Nothing new to report. Ben has his appt with the eye surgeon on Friday. Hoping to get some good news ... i.e. no operation!!! His weight has steadied out a bit, only put on 200g this week instead of the usual 250 - 300g. As of last Thursday (just before 10 weeks) he was 6.55kg, 61.5cm long and HC 42cm!! I know its going to slow eventually - one of these days!

Hmm just realised there were 7 boys born and 7 girls!! How clever are all of us!!! EVEN STEVENS.

Nikki: i noticed we had 7 of both just now when i looked at the list, we're very clever. I missed why Ben needs an operation but i hope the appointment goes well.

Vix: we're headed to Sydney for a few hours to do a few things and then we're headed to FIL's house at Ballina for most of our time away but also heading to Springwood, QLD to see BIL, SIL & their kids at some point too we haven't seen them since we moved from QLD to Cowra in August 2009. I'm going to be busy this week packing & cleaning the house as i'm not sure whether the real estate is doing an open house on Saturday or not as the house we're renting has been put up for sale, but i would have cleaned the house anyway especially as we wont be here for roughly 2weeks. Hope the ultrasound goes ok.

AFM: Ben is sleeping a minimum of 7hrs a night and has been for about 2weeks now. We're only getting up once a night to feed and i express either before or after Ben has had a bottle. I'm still giving Ben EBM 100% of his feeds and he's having 140ml every feed, i'm still demand feeding him so each day is different and he's going between 1 and 5hrs between feeds during the day, i've had a few lumps on the top side of my RH breast but nothing that massaging, a shower & expressing hasn't fixed although i still worry everytime. Ben is in mostly 000's although the smaller make ones are getting a little on the small side and he's in infant nappies although will likely put him in crawlers once i finish the infants of as the infants have leaked up his back a few times so i figure it's time to move him up in nappy sizes.

Nikki - Thanks honey. Yes, the DTD thing is not fun at all at the moment and I'm starting to feel terrible for DH! I'm not sure whether I should phone my OB as it's unbearable!! :wall: Yay on the 7 boys and 7 girls - we were pretty clever indeed!! lol Yay for Ben on his excellent stats, he is growing really well and you're doing an excellent job!

JCE0810 - Way to go on your Ben doing well too and growing well. You'll be coming to visit Qld hey? I live about 20-25mins away from Springwood so will be very close. lol Hope you have a great trip! ;)

Hello to everyone else!

AFM, have had a really good day today with Noah and he slept real well the last 2 nights, I have started "dream-feeding" him just before I go to bed around 9:30-10:00pm and then he sleeps til about 4:00am (6 hour stretches), but feeling worried and anxious about getting him weighed tomorrow as I'm not sure he is gaining enough weight. When I saw his pediatrician in November he said that he should be gaining about 180g a week but he only gained 130g the week before and although he gained 230g last week, I'm still worried, especially when I feel like my milk supply is low and because he seems to be hungry ALL the time! After I get him weighed tomorrow I might give the pediatrician a call just to see what he says. My nerves are shot and I hate feeling this way. Anyway, sorry for my rant...

Well then, my monkey went to sleep at 5:30pm and I was able to have a shower, do dishes and cook a proper dinner so now time to have it WITH DH, WHILE it's still warm.... as that doesn't happen often anymore! lol :p

Hello to everyone else :)

AFM-Madison has slipped into a routine. Feeds roughly 4 hrly during day. Bath, feed, bed @ 7pm - sleeps til between 3:30am-4:30am has a feed, then back to bed til 7-8am. This has been happening for about 3 wks so I guess it works for her. Yay!

I can't believe how quick they grow! Madi has such a personality it's really coming out now- with her giggles & cooing. And she has this funny "fake" cry/yell thing when she wants you to look at her- she stops then smiles straight away when you do- cheeky monkey!
I had her weighed today & she's 5.95kg. I don't know how the infant nappies say 4-8kg, they barely fit her now???

Group Q: are all your bubs still just "batting" at toys? Madsion is doing this in her bouncer/floor gym etc, not actually grabbing them, I mean her fist is still closed. Is this normal? It's been so long I can't remember?

Beckels, Summer isn't even doing that yet. She still just stares at toys. She can talk up a storm though. Loves having a sooky chat to dh. Must be his deep voice. So funny to listen to. Sounds like she wants to cry, but she's just chatting. Like she's complaining about her day lol.

Feeding is getting better. Still a struggle, but we're getting there.

Last day of school for the year :( I hate holidays!! Jaz goes into year 4 next year & Bri will be in year 1. She won't be the youngest in the school anymore :(
Oh well, they're off to the pool & waterslide today. They should have a ball :)

Pretz - sorry to hear DTD hurt. i no how u feel, i finally gave in and did it as well on sunday night. it hurt sooooo bad to start with, coz after my 3rd degree tear i to still get sooo tender down there. but with plenty of lube it didnt hurt for long, we event did it twice :o and even the second time it hurt to start with as well, but i paid for it the next day lol i was walking around like i had a carrot up my bum lol Cooper is sucking his hand as well, when he gets it in his mouth he full on goes at it. the other day he actually sucked his thumb properly, it was very cute.

Clover - yay on the new camera, ur pics on fb are gorgeous, well done.

JCE - enjoy your holiday :) WTG on bens growth to, they are all growing sooo quick.

Beckles - Madison sounds like she has a very cute personality there :) Cooper has the same routine, its been so good. and the added bonus is that DF is on holidays so i get up to cooper during the night and he gets him in the morning and i can sleep in till . . . whenever :)

GQ (to those with older children) - when did your other bubs get thier first teeth?? mum recons i had my 2 bottom teeth by 12 weeks. and the last few days Cooper has been sooo unsettled, had a lil temp and drooling like crazy!! could this mean hes getting teeth or is it normal?

AFM - not much to report here. we are going back and forth between our parents houses, and seeing friends during the day. we had all our mates over the other night for a few drinks and Cooper feel asleep on the couch at about 6.30 and we were all outside so i set up the monitor. but i had to laugh everytime someone went into the kitchen (which is right near the lounge) and especially towards the end of the night when everyone got alot louder, everyone was saying shhhhh you'll wake the baby. no one was used to it as my friends range from 18-21y/o and none of them have kids lol DF and i went out clubbing on friday night and left cooper with my mum all night. i ended up getting quite tiddled with my friends and at about 2am i was asking DF if we could go home hahah we ended up staying out at a friends house and i woke DF up at 6.30 to get him to take me home. i miss Coops soooooo bad. i had to laugh when we got home he was in bed with my mum and he was giving us the biggest stink eye lol dont think he was impressed that we left him for so long lol. it was soooo freakin cute yesterday my brother came up to my town for work and he rang to see where we were (he hadnt met cooper yet) so we went into town to see him, he gave everyone a hug and then took Cooper, i almost cried, my bro gets this really silly smile when hes really chuffed about something and he had that and he kept giving him the gentlest kisses, i get to see him again for a few days over christmas and meet his new girl. today we are off to see my best friend. i cant wait. she hasnt met cooper either, and is probably the only person in the world who doesnt have FB lol so she hasnt seen or heard very much about cooper besides what ive told her. but throughout my pregnancy she was very supportive and interested in what was goin on, cant wait til she actually sees him :)
anyway coopers starting to grumble so thats my cue to get moving. ill try drop in more often over the next few weeks.

ETA - notice how i said 'not much to report' and then wrote a novel. sorry :P

pretz -bugger that DTD was painful :( I can't tell ya if it is for me because I'm not doing it for a long long time yet LOL. certainly won't be happening with J ever again. LOL. how is little Noah? he is so cute. love seeing all the recent pics u post on facebook! growing up so fast.

nikki -gosh he is a big growing boy!! length wise Vin is not far behind him. he was 59cm at the last appointment at only 6 weeks old! my tall boy. its annoying because his legs don't fit clothes the same size as the rest of his body fits.. I think his head was 40cm too. so not far behind there either. LOL. Definitely not up around that same weight though. He was 4.98kg 2 weeks ago. Doesn't get weighed again til next Tuesday but i think he'd be in the high 5kgs cos he is getting real heavy.

jce that is great how well your Ben is sleeping!! I wish Vinny would be consistent. Some nights he sleeps 8 hours. others (like last night) he feeds every 2 hours. and others he just has the 1 feed about 3 or 4am and therefore has like 2 bits of sleep around 3-5 hours each.

beckels howdy! isn't it great when their personality starts to shine? Madi sounds so cute and cheeky! Vinny loves to giggle or smile at me when he spews on me. cheeky boy.

raffy not sure about what age teething usually happens but vinny has 2 obvious bumps in the middle of his bottom gum. and one to the side a bit. I said to mum I think he could be teething and she said no. i have no idea. my niece didn't get her first tooth til she was like 10 months or something. aww sounds cute that ur bro was so proud of his nephew. my bro who is 17 absolutely adores Vinny. he gets to see him a lot because i spend most of my nights at mums place.

afm been dealing with some issues with J and his mum. the dna results came back last friday. confirmed. obviously. and then I went over on saturday to get the birth registration form (its due in about a week) but he 'couldn't find it' and so I said i'd be back on tues. he told me he'd call monday and I said okay cool we can arrange a time for tues to come over and he didn't call monday. i drove all the way over to bendigo tues and couldn't get onto him (wouldn't answer the phone). i ended up coming home in a huge big huff. i rang bdm and they are sending me another form. i can send it off without him. unless he mails it to me before then. he messaged with a lame excuse 'we were outside' and told me 'its best to ring the night before' to which I didn't even answer that. he was meant to call me.

so after all that he may not even see V for xmas. he wanted him for an hour this weekend (before they fly overseas mid week for 2 weeks) and I said maybe. but i can't trust his word to follow through on a planned phone call. so no way am i leaving him there because who's to say i'd get him back? i told him its me and him, or neither. still haven't got a reply yet. will be interesting to see what happens.

gotta go. vinny is calling to me from the other room. his mobile stopped.

AFM - took Ty to the chiropractor on tuesday and she seemed really positive and reckons she can have him off his reflux meds asap...i hope so!! She said she probably can't stop the actual chucking but the pain assoociated, darn for that though, still lots of washing for me!! :). The reflux formula has been making him constipated, so she said she stimulated his bowels and he went 3 times in the next 24 hours...YAY!!!! Go back again tomoro!! Will update after

Beckles - Lovely to hear from you and lovely to hear that Madi is into such a nice routine there for ya. Noah has a similar routine. Feed, bath, feed, sleep at 7pm, has a top up feed around 9:30pm or 10:00pm and goes til about 4-4:30am! Then sleeps again until about 7-8am! Love that I get to go back to sleep with him. I hope for your sake that DTD doesn't hurt, although I too had a 2nd degree tear and thinking that might have something to do with it!! I haven't had the chance to phone my OB but if things continue to be this painful then will mosy definitely give him a call. As for your group question: Noah doesn't always bat at his toys altough he does it sometimes but even then I don't think hr actually knows he is doing it so I wouldn't worry if I were you.

Clover - Glad to hear that the feeding is going better. Hoping that it continues to get better. :crossfingers:

Raffy - Sorry to hear that DTD also hurt for you but glad that the extra lube worked. Sorry for TMI but I used like half a bottle of lube and it was still unbearable... Guess we just gotta keep trying! :p Glad to hear you're having such a great time over in Perth visiting your family and catching up with friends.

Brydz - Noah is going well thanks honey. I have my Mummy meltdowns of getting stressed and anxious over him not gaining enough weight which is so silly when I get him weighed and I worried for no reason lol :p I'm sorry to gear about J's attitude and for not phoning. I was hoping that once the DNA results came back that he and his family's attitudes would have changed and that theyd want to be more involved in his life! Huge hugs :hug:

Group Q - Is anyone else's baby very clingy? Noah has his moments where he will sit in his pram or swing for a little while but not long until he cries and wats to be picked up/held and when you put him down again he cries again. his goes on most days and I'm not getting much done... Any tips???

AFM, I was silly and stressed for no reason over Noah's weight gain as you girls would have seen on FB. Yes ge gained a whopping 430g since last Wednesday and now weighs 6kg's! He is now 62cm tall and HC is 41cm! Wow my baby is getting bigger by the day!! :dance: Went to physio yesterday and left Noah with my MIL and he was an Angel. Even slept for 3 & 1/2 hours while we were there. Think it might have been nice and cool there for him as she has nice breezes there. ;)

Well best get going. Massive storms here......

Pretz - Sling it. Babies need to know you are around. Have the TV/radio going if it helps.
Summer is in my sling alot. She loves it & usually sleeps for hours at a time in it.

Pretz - yes cooper is a little velcro baby. very very very rarely sits in his swing or lays on the floor by himself. its a huge PITA but i dont mind that much, gives me a good excuse as to why things dont get done :) :crossfingers: they grow out of it eventually though.

Breckles - Cooper is already grabbing at the toys above his bouncer. and he has a pram/carseat tie that he full on kicks at then giggles to himself its so adorable. i always laugh at him coz he concentrates soooo hard when hes trying to kick it. bless.

AFM - all is good on our end. Poor Cooper trooper is exhausted by the end of everyday coz he gets past from pillar to post between all my mums friends lol hes been taking it very well but at around 6ish every night he absolutely spits it, but its nothing a nice warm bath, a big full belly and a good old cuddle cant fix. he slept in mums room last night and slept thru til 5am for her (good lil man) then was sitting on mums lap in her bed having a big smiley chat then projectile vomited all over mum (she copped it in the face :rofl:) and her bed, then he started giggling!! cheeky little bugger. im just about to put up the xmas tree with my mum and sister!! my favourite part of the year (better late than never)

Sorry my post got cut short yesterday as i was interupted!!

The rest of the AFM was: Tynan has now slept through the past 4 nights, from about7.30-8pm to 5.30-7am, rather stoked with that! Apart from that he bats at and tries to grab his toys on his playmat, like Coops the look of concentration when he is trying so hard to grab at the toy he has in sight is adorable! he also has a little mirror on his play mat and loves looking at himself, he thinks it is hilarious. He is now rolling from his back onto his side, then getting stuck and doesn't know which way to go!!! I sit there talking to him and say "ma, ma, ma " "Da, da, da", he also thinks that is hilarious, its like he is thinking i know what you are saying but you've got many months before that comes out of my mouth!!:) Anyway i will stop babbling like a proud little mum, and get some work done, before i play with my little man for most of the day! :)

After buying a sling, Alannah liked it for a week or two and now hates it! What a friggin waste of money! I do agree though that she sleeps best when the house is full of noise and does not sleep the best when we have our girly day so the tv is on alllllll day! lol

Pretz - try not to look at his weight over a week at a time but at a month at a time, then you get a really good av. Same as when he starts eating. Don't look at it day by day but over a week or two.

Sorry for my short post. With 3 kids I just don't get much uninterrupted time. I exploded at NJ the other day because he wanted to sit in the bathroom whilst I showered. All I wanted was a friggin shower in silence! Still have not been for my ultrasound and have TOLD DH I have to do it next week. I remember when NJ started sleeping through at 6 weeks I had loads of energy and felt awesome. Alannah has been sleeping through since 5 weeks and i wake up in the morning yawning! Go figure.

pretz wow Noah is growing so well. don't ever stress that he isn't getting big enough. enjoy him while he's little lol cos before you know it he'll be 6 ft 2. gosh I hope that around Vinnys age they start slowing down in length growth or something because he is what 62cm, Ben (nikkis) is now 61cm I think she said and Vinny was already 59cm at his 6 week check!! If he keeps it up he'll be a giant!!

afm -J is really stupid really. Because I was willing to start unsupervised visits and down the track overnight visits (if he showed enough interest and things were going smoothly enough) much EARLIER than the courts would ever allow. Now he wants to do everything by the book (or the law or whatever its called) and is putting himself at a disadvantage. They won't allow overnight until the age of 2 generally, maybe older. And while we get things rolling he doesn't get to see Vinny at all. Because legally I don't have to make any effort. I've done so much. It's about time I gave up trying so hard. AND he is still refusing to send me the paperwork. So as soon as my new form arrives from BDM I will be applying for the birth cert without his signature. He can always be added later.

Well anyway J called me today and he decided that he just can't see V with me there. So now he doesn't see him at all for xmas. Or at all until things get sorted. Whether we mediate, or use lawyers or end up before the courts. Shooting himself in the foot really. :shakehead:

So tomorrow we are going to go out and enjoy the day, visit some friends perhaps and do something nice while they are having their family xmas without him. Their choice.

Ahh man I cant catch up ... Summer is crying about going outside. Just 2 minutes to myself please!!! (Hear you on the wanting to shower alone Vix, the only time I get to myself is once everyone has gone to bed, then I stay up to have some alone time and hence am dog tired again in the morning). Bah, Being a mum really is 24/7, perhaps even 25/7??? :rofl:

Ben's appt. went well on Friday. Pretty much just a waste of money. The eye surgeon just told me everything my OB had already told me and it cost $175 for a whole 4 minutes of his time. Just said its a blocked duct, should rectify itself, just keep on top with cleaning it ... blah blah blah, see you in 9 months to check its cleared up or surgery then. Good news I suppose, just expensive good news hahaha

Brydz - Yeah, Ben was 61.5cm at 9.5 weeks, and at 6 weeks was 59cm also. How is it all these boys are on par with each other. Freaky :p Big hugs hunny that everything with J sorts out soon. You dont need all this stress hampering Vinny's first Christmas :comfort:

Thats it for me, got to go see my nan who is in hospital AGAIN becuase she is severly dehydrated after her last bout of chemo. Fingers crossed this s**t of a cancer stays away for good this time and gives the old girl a flipping break!!

I feel the same as you Nikki - have been busy busy busy and haven't got ANY time for myself! Always looking and attending to Noah 25/7! lol :p He is just sooooo worth it though and keep melting my heart when he gives me those huge, big, gummy smiles!! :dance: Sorry to hear that the eye surgeon appt was so expensive only for him to tell you what your OB already told you. Good news though that he doesn't seem to need surgery and that it's nothing serious! Sorry to hear about your Nan being in hospital. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers! :hug:

Clover & Vix - Thanks for the tips re the sling. I got one about a month ago, but he HATES it just like Alannah so wasted the money I guess. I also have one of those carriers, which is handy when going to the shops, but 1 - it's just so hot to carry him around in all day and 2 - it kills my already messed up back even more and when I do get him in there and he finally falls asleep it's hard to get him unstrapped without him waking up. lol Have started putting him in his pram more often and wheel him around everywhere in the house with me now while I do things, seems to last at least long enough for me to do dishes or put on washing, fold washing, put on dinner etc. lol

Clover - Hope the breastfeeding has been going better the last few days. How are you finding the nipple shield? Love your photos you've been taking. ;)

Vix - Yes, I'm only getting him weighed again this week and will then only be getting him weighed once a month. I'm just being silly about stressing over his weight. I guess I just have to remember what EVERYONE (GP, CHN and friends) tell me - if he is hungry (i.e not gaining enough weight) he will be crying ALL the time. lol He seems pretty settled and has probably about 12-15 wet nappies a day and does a huge poo every second day, sometimes 2 times that second day! lol Hope you get to go for your ultrasound soon and it's all good news! :hug:

Sparkles - You lucky ducky with Tynan sleeping through the night! Noah is still waking once a night (most nights), but some nights when I go to bed later and I give him a top up feed (while he is asleep) he basically sleeps through too, which is fantastic! ;) I spent most of my days talking away to Noah too and over the past 2 days have heard him make different noises along with the one's he used to so he is definitely starting to increase his "words"! lol

Raffy - Glad to hear I'm not the only one having a "velcro" baby! You're right, it sure does give us a good excuse for when and why things aren't done. lol I too hope that they grow out of it eventually and in the meantime guess we should enjoy them "clinging" to us because once they're like 16 they're not even going to want to be seen anywhere near us I bet! lol Sorry to hear you're MIL is doing your head in......it's always the way isn't it. Just remember that you're doing a great job as Coop's Mummy and you would know his cries better than anyone else so I'm sure YOU will know when your baby is hungry.

Brydz - Yes, our boys are all growing so well and tall! I think Noah is definitely going to be tall like his Daddy. Everyone that sees him says he is so BIG and tall for his age. Actually found out yesterday that my Goddaughter who is 8 months old actually only weighs 700g more than Noah and she is also 62cm tall now! She is just a tiny big chubbier than Noah. lol Makes me wonder how big Noah will be when he is 8 months old if he's almost already caught up to her! lol Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with J. I hope you get to sort everything out soon and that it won't need to go as far as going through lawyers or the courts. :hug:

Hello to everyone else!

AFM, have had a busy, busy, busy but great weekend! Had a nice, huge nap yesterday from around 12:00pm til 3:00pm with Noah and went to my Godmother's Christmas party last night. Noah slept from 8:30pm until we got home at midnight, woke for a quick feed, went straight back to sleep and slept until 6:00am this morning. We got up at 6:30am and went to my Goddaughters Baptism and Noah slept in Daddy's arms for the entire Church service. lol Went out to lunch, he had bottle of EBM (190ml in one go!! :o - never had that much in one go in a bottle) and slept from about 12:30pm until we got home at 4:00pm! Then had a small feed, a bath, another feed and went to sleep around 6:45pm. Finally went to finish our Chrissy shopping this arvo and now just gotta wrap it all up ready for next Saturday (we'll be spending the day at MIL's house).

Well then, best be off, DH made us some nice toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwiches for dinner (seeing as we weren't very hungry after our big lunch). Nice to have dinner made for me for a change! lol

Glad to hear that things with feeding is getting better. Hope it just continues to get better and better. I think Noah just went through a growth spurt about a week or so ago as he had that massive gain and the last few days have been going 3 hours or so between feeds. ;)

Thank you - DH and I are both very excited about spending our first Christmas with our little boy! Can't wait and what's best of all is that we get to help open some extra pressies this year! lol :p

pretz Wow Noah is nearly as big as that 8 month old? crazy huh. My niece who turns 2 on NYE is only 80cm. I reckon Vinny is going to be as tall as her before long. She is right on the bottom line on the growth charts and he is toward 90% I think on his.

Yesterday I received a really really really long email from "J" that was sent from his mothers email address. I KNEW all along it was her email address but now I have proof because she finally sent me an email from it and her name comes up. Not J's.

Anyways it was a stupid email really. Full of inaccuracies and half truths and even a couple of lies. She clearly does think I'm stupid. I remember what things I have said and done. Over on BH website I keep a diary about it all. I have also got a written diary from most of my pregnancy AND a saved copy of every piece of correspondence between me and J (or her).

So I replied as nicely as I could and just corrected a few of her mistakes with the ACTUAL truth and then wished them a happy holiday and said I hope we can sort it out when they are back from overseas.

In the meantime I'm hoping to not hear from them again until they get back and Vinny and I will enjoy our Christmas best we can :)
Its gunna be good fun all the kids are growing up we have 4 toddlers this year so it will be mad!

Vinny had his 8 week check up today at 8 + 3. He has gained 610g since last weigh in at 5 + 6. He now weighs abot 5.5kg and is 60cm long. an increase of only 1cm in 2 and a half weeks, so his length has slowed down which is good. Hopefully he will still fit in the 00 clothes for quite a while yet.

Since having his needles at 1pm he's been quite drowsy and slept most of the time. was unsettled and screaming for a while bout an hour ago but had some panadol and seems to be just fine, sleeping again now.

wow xmas is like 3 days away. still have presents to buy..

still not sure about what to do about Vinny's middle name. J has sent me the registration form and signed it and changed it to what he wanted but I'm not sure what to do. going to ring legal aid tomorrow and ask a few more questions.

well Coops has been unsettled for 3 days now!!!!! he was soooo good and sleeping through but the last 3 nights ive had a total of about 10 hours sleep all up. im baffled as to the cause, was back staying with DF last night though so i had his help but there still wasnt really anything he could do but feel sorry for us and take Cooper when i needed to pee lol

:crossfingers: we solve this riddle asap.

Brydz - Hope brave little Vinny is ok after those big bad needles. and i still have christmas presents to buy as well :doh: but today ive told DF im not making cooper get into a car unless the house starts burning down. the poor little guy has been in the car everyday since we got to Perth and the minium length of time has been 30 mins. he now cries as soon as you put him in it :( let us no how you go with the legal aid GL :hug:

We're at 5.5 kgs I think, lol. She finally had the 6 week growth spurt... 4 weeks late!

Its going too fast :( I miss the tiny NB grunts already. ILs are enjoying her smiles & chats though.

Had her first little giggle the other night in the bath. All the kids & mum got to hear it :D

WOOHOO just bought myself a pocket-less hug-a-bub second hand on eBay for $31 including postage!! bargain!! I just hope its in as good condition as they say. only problem is its bright fuchsia pink so everyone will probably think Vinny is a girl in it lol. oh well. for that price I don't care!!

Vinny has been good so far since his needles. if anything they have just made him more sleepy most of the time.

He weighed in at 5.59kg a gain of 610g in 2 and a bit weeks! His hc is now 41.5cm (was 40cm) and length 60cm (was 59cm).

He is 2 calendar months today!! omg where has the time gone?? most your bubs must be getting closer to 3 months now!! they will all be on the move before long!

afm been busy with lunch yesterday with friends, and visiting my nan and things. finally sending off the paperwork for birth registration today right on day 60. sentding a letter to BDM asking if they can do something to resolve our middle name dispute and pick for us. not sure if they are allowed to do that but worth a try. if not ill bring it up for my lawyer.

going to do my xmas shopping this arvo. was going to go with mum to bendigo this morning but she said she'll go this morning, and i can go this arvo and she will mind V for me. YAY! baby free xmas shopping. that will be amazing. its sooooooo hectic and with a baby and a pram and things it can be a disaster so I'm glad she offered. I've been expressing milk this morning so she can have enough for at least one feed. doubt ill be gone long enough to need 2, but if she does he can have a formula. won't hurt. he hasn't had his bedtime ones for 3 days running.
last night slept from 10-430 on boob milk alone :) (was fed at 9ish). glad my milk has picked up and is doing alright now. the stress of everything with J was causing issues.
one advantage to stress, i lost 2.5kg in a week. only a couple to go and ill be back to pre pregnancy weight. atm still half fitting in my clothes and wearing mat clothes still. going to treat myself to a new top or two when i go shopping later. clothes shopping with a bub is impossible!!

woohoo xmas tomorrow/sat. i can't wait to see what presents me and the lil man are getting!! will be so much fun.

Alannahrama spent ages yesterday working on steadying (sp) her arm to reach out to touch her hanging toys on her arch that she plays under. Today she nailed it! Was reaching out to them but this time in her swing and even managed to grasp one....which of course was then stuck straight in her mouth! :D Yesterday was shocking. Not sure if it was a growth spurt or that DH was away and she was picking up on my anxiety but she was sooooo blumin' unsettled. I fed her every 1.5 - 2 hrs from 8am till 7pm. After that she had a bath and her bottle. This morning she was still out of sorts but DH arrived home at lunch time and she suddenly settled down to her normal happy chappy self......and I too felt my shoulders relax!

DH drove almost 16 hrs yesterday and then drove another 4 today back home!:o

Sorry for the lack of persies. Will try and catch up lafter Chrissy. Tomorrow I have Christmas cooking to do, vacuum the house and wrap presents. Tomorrow night we will have dinner, watch Shrek the Halls and then drive aimlessly for hours looking at all the lights before coming home to bed! MIL is causing drams and has been for a few weeks now so I am worried about Xmas day. DH said if she starts on Xmas day, we are up and elaving and coming back home. Soooooo hope nothing happens to ruin out first Chrissy with Alannahrama!

Brydz - Yes, I too couldn't believe Noah is nearly as big as my Goddaughter who is 8 months old!! :o Sorry to hear that you're still having some dramas with J and his Mum. I hope that it all gets straightened out and that you can all go on with your lives happily and in peace with each other! Just remember that you're doing an excellent job with Vinny and don't let them or anyone else tell you otherwise! ;) Awesome about Vinny's great weight gain. Hope he is much more settled now after his needles. I guess I was lucky with Noah as he just screamed when he had the needles, but it was over quite quick and he had no troubles afterwards thankfully. Have you made a decision as to what Vinny's middle name is going to be? I hear ya on it being impossible to go clothes/shopping with a bub! Noah's usually ok for about 10 minutes or so but then screams the roof off the mall! lol

Raffy - Sorry to hear about Coop's being unsettled. Noah has been unsettled too the last 2 nights. Think it must be another growth spurt they're all going through all of a sudden. Excellent news on Coop's great weight gain! ;)

Clover - WTG on Summer's excellent weight gain too! Very happy it's going well. How cute about the giggles! Noah has been giggling/laughing too. :dance:

Vix - LOVE the nickname Alannahrama! ;) I have noticed that Noah has started grabbing on to face clothes that might be with him in the pram and some of his toys too, although he isn't 100% good at holding on to them for very long. His arms, legs and neck control is getting stronger everyday too, although his neck is still a bit floppy at times and I was a bit worried about it, but guess he will sort himself out sooner rather than later. He hates tummy time all of a sudden and just lays there sucking his hand. Have been trying different ways to help his neck, such as by holding him up against me and over my shoulder and he then holds his head up nicely, so guessing that's ok. Any other suggestions? Sorry to hear that Alannah has also been unsettled. Must be more growth spurts. Noah has been unsettled the past few nights too... Sorry to hear about your MIL causing drama's, hopefully she doesn't cause problems on Christmas day. :hug:

Nikki - Hope things are going well and that Ben's eye is getting better. Hope you have been able to somehow find some time for yourself, even if just 10 mins! I'm still struggling to find time to get dressed and have brekky by 11am most mornings! lol :p

Hello to everyone else!

AFM, dog tired today, so is DH. Should have been in bed by now, but had to do some banking online and check up on a few things for DH. As mentioned to Vix and Raffy, Noah has been very unsettled the past few nights, sometimes waking 2 or 3 times and not wanting to go back to sleep. It got so bad last night that I was in tears and DH helped me settle him twice! At least we all got a sleep in until 8:30am this morning as DH didn't have to work. Noah was a bit better today though and went to sleep around 7:00pm so I'm going to feed him (without waking him) just before I go to bed. Have a big, painful lump in my left boob, hopefully it's not a blocked milk duct but massaged it in the shower tonight and although it feels a bit better, it's still a bit painful too...

Well then, I best get going, but just incase I don't get the chance to come online again before then...

Vix - WTG alannah for grasping toys. shes a clever girl, i noticed that Cooper is starting to grasp my fingers again so i replaced my finger with a teether and he looked at it and yep, straight into the gob lol im glad she has settled now the ur DH is back, it doesnt help being alone and having a sooky bub. hope you have an amazing christmas and ur MIL doesnt cause dramas. have fun looking at xmas lights, that was my all time favourite thing to do as a kid but my parents moved to the bush 5 years ago so i dont get to any more, hopefully in a few years when Coops is old enough to understand we'll start having xmas at my house in suburbia so he can enjoy all the lights :)

Pretz - sorry to hear u were in tears when Noah was being fussy, im glad u had DH to help though and u got to enjoy a nice sleep in, hope ur booby feels better soon to xx

AFM - ive been in complete denial about it but i think im drying up :crying: ive tried absolutely everything to boost my supply, but nothing is working. i NEVER feel full anymore and when i squeeze bugger all comes out, and when i put Coops on the boob he just gets angry and frustrated to the point where we are both almost in tears and i give him the formula and hes fine, to make matters worse when i give him formula DF says 'you'll run out if you dont give him boob' :o its not like im doing it on purpose!! i feel like a failure as a mum coz i cant even feed my own baby the way nature intended. it makes me soooo sad that today DF made a comment and i walked away and had a little cry :(
Cooper just wouldnt go down tonight, not without a fight anyways, usually he has a bath, a feed and a cuddle and hes out by 6.30 at the lastest, but its 9.45 now and ive only just got him to stay asleep in his cot. :crossfingers: this means a sleep in.
anyways im being a huge downer, xmas eve tomoro :dance: my brother is catching the train up to see us and hes bringing his new'ish' (she was kept secret from us for a while) girlfriend. cant wait to meet her and see my big bro :D:D

i might drop in tomoro sometime inbetween cleaning the house, cooking lunch for xmas day and playing with my little man, but if not MERRY CHRISTMAS to all you gorgeous ladies and your beautiful babies. you all mean soo soo much to me. you would have no idea how much i refer to my 'belly ladies' IRL. we've gone through laughter and tears together and i seriously dont think i could have made it to this point without you all. hope you all have wonderful christmas' and a happy 2011
